To be honest, when I switched from Clip+ to Clip 4 I was hesitant. I miss the built in extra cable but the new design is much stronger. I'm not thrilled with the bass response, although it's nice and loud it's not as crisp as I'd hoped after being spoiled by the Clip+'s quieter but tighter bass, but I'm very pleased, especially after water damage through moisture. was the ultimate finish for my Clip+, which will not be a problem with the waterproof Clip 4.
