I really don't understand the posts saying kinetic sand wasn't a big mess. We opened it up this morning, played with it for an hour or two, and now the whole house is a huge mess. It sticks together which means most of it peels off easily. Unfortunately, a little lags behind and it lands on other toys and legs, and then it attracts a little more and pretty soon the whole house is covered in sand. If you can't bring a bucket of sand to the performance, then don't carry it. Clumping keeps it from making a big initial mess, but clumping also keeps it haunted throughout the house. If you hate someone, give their kids kinetic sand for Christmas.
