I was told that we will be composting in my apartment soon. I'm very happy with it, since living in an apartment doesn't allow for your own composting. So I decided to try compostable packaging. To be honest I don't know if these bags actually compost, I hit the "believe" button. I was also a bit apprehensive about using them with a container that puts the stickiest stuff in, although I think I'll have to try that at some point. The package has been in the bin for several weeks and seems to be holding up well. In fact, I have a box of regular hefty bags for comparison. They are definitely a bit smaller and thinner. My bins are bigger for "haute cuisine" and that was a little tricky. However, I think that when we really start composting I will still use a smaller tank.
