The New Balance 993 is my favorite running/gym shoe - I've had it for years. They ensure the right fit on the heel, ball of foot and toes. Good cushioning on the bottom. And still made in the USA. One of my two pairs had worn out after a long time so I got a replacement that fits right out of the box.
