Gloves are very nice for cheaper gloves. The thumb is about half an inch longer, and when you turn it around it looks like they started sewing there and ended there, so there are a few threads that don't get cut, which is weird when you're sewing yours hand presses . That being said, when you open your palm the thumb gets about half an inch longer, but once you close it it shortens a bit, but it's still a quarter of an inch longer, which doesn't sound like much, but you could cut yourself. Trim off some excess material in the thumb, but then you run the risk of getting close to the carving. I'm guessing if someone had a small sewing machine or just thread they could cut off the tip of the thumb a bit and sew it back on. And that would be great. Be careful, I think that's where they started sewing the outside edge of the glove into the finished seam. So if you mess that up you can dissolve the whole glove lol otherwise we'll see how they do it! Edit - a few months later I'm absolutely happy with it, the thumb problem goes away once you start clenched fist rolling, but the only thing that has started to fail so far is the velcro, but it still fits well enough with cutting Take them off or just leave them hanging and of course with a little modification you could probably add better velcro. I will buy more simply because after about three months they are still good!
