I have bought many battery powered fans. This is by far the BEST product of the bunch. I live in a full 12 volt solar rail. I need these fans to disperse heat away from the ceiling and my heat source. They snap and stay in place. I attach them to the hatch of the bus and they act as a ceiling fan. In addition, they can be fully rotated into any conceivable position. No "rotating" fan I've bought does this. They come with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery! So no more buying triple A's or sorting through rechargeable batteries that normally need to be charged at 110. Now you can just charge them with a standard 110 like you do your phone, but I only have 12 volts. Get THIS fan has speed control. ! Turn on the wheel and the more you spin it, the faster the speed. On the lowest setting, the fans will run for around 10 to 12 hours on a single charge. So for me they will work all night and keep the warm air circulating while I sleep. I reload them in the morning. One downside: the little red LED that shows it's charging, for example, doesn't turn green to let you know it's charged, so you'll have to guess. I charged them for 5 or 6 hours and they were ready to go again. There was no visible voltage drop across my solar panels after they were charged. 13.7 volts at the beginning and end, so they shouldn't need much current to charge (I have 3 of them). I'm buying 3 more to get the kit working and charging. I'm so happy.
