Review on ๐Ÿš DJI Mini 3 Pro Quadcopter (DJI RC) in Grey: Advanced Features and Performance by Anastazja Syrvetnyk แ Œ

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

I bought it to replace the Mini 2. The difference in photo / video quality is noticeable. Especially for evening / night scenes. There's a breakthrough here! Video 4K/60 FPS. Plus SlowMo. And a bunch of modes that the Mini 2 didn't have (mostly thanks to the sensors). A 48-megapixel photo turned out to be a useful thing, the detail is many times better than a photo in normal mode. Rotate the camera to the plus. Now you do not need to cut video / photo in the story editor. In terms of functionality and picture quality, this is already like Air 2 / 2S, and not Mini at all. In terms of dimensions, the copter itself seems a little larger, probably due to the increased blades. But the weight remained the same (with a standard battery, not Plus). The remote control with the screen went very well. This is what was missing! In general, it has become more convenient to use the copter: the screen is in the remote control, the cover for the camera is more convenient, the rays can be laid out in any order, the power button is on top of the drone (Mini 2 has it on the bottom), it is more convenient to put filters on the camera, etc. After buying and using the Mini 2, after a while I started looking towards the Air 2S. But when the Mini 3 Pro came out, the problem immediately disappeared. Everything that I missed in the Mini 2 appeared in the Mini 3 pro. So my choice was clear.

Pros
  • - As light and small as the Mini 2. - The camera began to shoot better (compared to Mini 2). Plus a vertical mode and a bunch of shooting modes. - The remote control with a screen is very convenient and practical. - Time in flight became a little more. - Finally, there are sensors and, accordingly, Active Track and other modes. - Improved the usability of the drone itself: the power button is on top, the beams are laid out in any order, etc. - You can buy a high-capacity battery.
Cons
  • - In my copy from 06/2022, the camera was fogged up in the lower right corner. After about 3 flights, the fogging disappeared by itself. I didn't have to go to SC. But the incident is unpleasant and alarming. - Poor kit. Copter, remote control, Type C wiring, 2 pairs of blades. And . And that's all . And this is at such a price! Everything else must be purchased separately. - I would like a little more brightness in the display on the remote control. But overall it's comfortable. Brightness at the level of average smartphones or flagships of yesteryear. - The copter gets very hot, if not in flight, but is turned on on the table. - Photo transfer from the copter has become not so convenient. Since now you need to separately connect the phone to the copter with the DJI Fly application. But these are trifles.
