Review on Grohe 27816001 RAINSHOWER F CHROME by Courtney Cameron

Not installed yet but looks like it will be easy to install and the product looks great. Will be updated after installation. See the comments below for the difference between 27815 and 27816. The description for 27815 states that it is a satin nickel color (it also appears to have a satin nickel finish in the picture) but that is not correct. After ordering and realizing it was chrome, I called Grohe customer service. They said these heads are only available in Chrome. So I sent the shower head back to replace with a newer model (27816) as it was cheaper at the time. I'm so glad I did. The newer model has a much better installation system. See photo. I was concerned about getting the exact depth in the ceiling and then screwing the entire head down with 27815. In terms of finished appearance, both appear to be exactly the same.
