Review on 24-Pack of Neaties Red Cedar 1/2-Inch Hangers with Notches and Bar by Laura Pena

Hanger top/corner quality is excellent; polished very smooth, pleasant appearance, pleasant scent of cedar. One downside is the center band/pant band is not smooth, not sanded at all. Although I didn't get a splinter, I felt like I could quite easily if I tried. So while I could see that you might not want it to be smooth in order for your pants to stay in place, I have to think that it might also damage the clothing/add splinters to the fabric. I use them to hang light jackets so I took the time to remove the rods. They are held in place by two brackets, one on each side. Some came out relatively easily, others I needed pliers to remove the nail/staple. Another thing is that the photo of this listing says they are made in the USA but there is no indication of this on the product or packaging. The only marking on the box is the Neaties logo, no box manufacturer markings, no US or China manufacture. There is no thank you paper in the box, made in the USA at any factory etc. Inside the box are layers of two hangers and a foam pack between each layer.
