Review on πŸ’‘ ADOBEYOND Power Strip with 6 AC Outlets, USB, and USB C Ports - Compact and Mountable Surge Protector with Extension Cord by Darryl Duncan

Crass is around

This is an extension cord, and not even a very good one. The 18 AWG cable is the thinnest you can get. 8-10 amps max for 25' wire. I have a $12 14 AWG surge protector that can last twice as long or 50% more amps. Yes, I know it only has a 5 inch cable, but that's a minor thing. There should be something called MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor) inside, I've posted a photo of what they look like. As you can see, it doesn't have them. They also say it can handle over 1800W. Even without looking at the brand I knew it was a lie because 18 gauge wire wouldn't hold as much. As you can see on the product itself, it says 1250 watts. There's also no clamping time or voltage for suppression numbers. What it is is a cheap power strip that should at best sell for $5 or less if not at a dollar store. Not $17 or whatever they charge. I will return this garbage.
