I am very happy with this brush! I have never "combed" my daughter's hair because I don't want to damage her beautiful locks. I have only used combs/selectors made specifically for curly hair. But my child's hair is getting longer and thicker and a comb/pick won't cut it anymore. This brush is SO helpful! It saves a lot of time every morning and my 3 year old is much happier. Less time spent and fewer tangles/knots. I would say my daughter's hair is about 3b. She is 3 years old and I swear her hair is getting thicker every week. It's BEAUTIFUL FOR THE SELLER. The "before and after" picture in this ad is upside down. The woman at the top is "after". A woman using a brush is "before".
