Decent board but weird issues

The board was a pleasure to install. The ports are very easy to access and convenient to use. Looks very cool with standard RGB too. And it works, for the most part, which is fine. But I had some problems with it and I may have to send it back. Waiting for some new parts to change and look at. - It took 3 power cycles for POST after I plugged everything in first. Luckily that was enough. It looks like it's ready to overclock your CPU. I have an unlocked chip and it runs at 1GHz higher than the box says. Not sure if it was the CPU or the mobo but I don't want to overclock it. Why is overclocked by default? Find out more next time in the DBZ. - Updating BIOS is essential from the beginning otherwise it will cause many OS, drivers and hardware compatibility issues. - The system freezes after a few hours of error-free gaming. , BSOD or event logs. I think it's a RAM incompatibility (Corsair Vengeance). I have a new "compatible" set on the way, but that's more money I had to spend just because the board doesn't like RAM. XMP is automatically enabled and cannot be disabled. With XMP, you can essentially throttle or overclock your RAM, and you can't turn it off and leave it running from the factory. You can only refuse. And the XMP settings are not very user-friendly, so you have to be very careful when configuring them. So yes, I've been building PCs for almost 10 years and I've never had such problems with mobile devices. I'd pay an extra $50 and get a Gigabyte Z-series board if you're looking for an Intel Coffee Lake board.
