You'll be hot, but for all the wrong reasons! Beware!

First of all, the dress material is incredibly thick and stifling. I put the dress on and not even 10 seconds later, I felt like I was going to break into a sweat because of the compressing material. It feels like thermal clothing, I kid you not. While this may be fine for colder climates, in South Florida where over 300 days of the year it is in the 80s and above, it is torturous. I read in the comments that someone else in Florida said the same thing about the material being perhaps appropriate for cold climates, but not humid subtropical.I already was disappointed in the dress for this reason, but then when I looked in the mirror, it made my figure look.vulgar. I don't know how to explain it, but I was hoping for a slimming effect and it did the opposite and even emphasized my breasts to look gargantuan, and created hips where I don't have any. It also added volume to my already-broad shoulders because of the fake shoulder pads, which made the shoulder area look broader and pointy. The length was awkward as well -- mid-way on my thigh, though I am 5'1" so that may be why. The worst part was when I showed my mother, who is almost 80, and she told me it looked incredibly matronly on me. For someone that age to make such a comment, you know it's bad. She said it looked like I had raided my mother's closet and tried to play dress-up. She also said it made me look short(er) and dumpy. It might suit a slim, tall woman with no curves, like the woman in the picture, but for the rest of us who have breasts, broad-shoulders and a butt, it just makes us look tacky and cheap. The material looked cheap all on its own, too.
