The sensors that send a signal to the base do not work INSIDE a large metal fridge or my small metal beer fridge under the cabinet. I understand that the signal does not go through the metal structure? So I've put them in other places outside of fridges and the sensors work fine! Happy consumer. I think I could put 1 remote control AND base in the fridge and it would work. Unfortunately I only need 1 remote control for one base. How can you evaluate "heat" with a thermometer?
