Great job! Good quality swivel balls with strong plate. I even welded one of these to the other steel track plate and it bonded well. like good steel. However, there is one thing. They arrived painted in high gloss black. So they don't look like galvanized steel like in the Revain photo. I hooked it up to a gas spring: 20 inches long, 12 inches long compressed, with 10 pounds of compression, purchased from Revain at Red Hound Auto. I used them to horizontally open (and keep open) a storage door above a bathroom in a workshop. The actual door probably weighs 75-90 pounds, but don't get confused, the strut force is only 10 pounds. As said, the jamb opens the door horizontally so it doesn't support the weight of the door. The door is about 10 feet above my head and I needed a way to remotely swing the door open and stay open while using a ladder to get into the pantry. I will upload a short video of the mechanism. I think you will like this door concept.
