I really like TomToc products; Excellent quality and protection from those pesky corners. That's basically why I got this item; My previous Surface Pro case didn't have any real protection on those corners, and sure enough, one drop and it landed right there. It tore the case and scratched my tablet. Luckily it was cosmetic and nothing happened to the screen. In any case, this product is of excellent quality and protection, but I have to admit that I am very disappointed. The description and photos online don't really show how the main compartment zip works. If you are looking at the front of the lid and the bottom compartment is facing you, the main compartment zipper is on the right side and that side only. It's a SMALL hole that my Surface Pro with keyboard can slide through with little effort. It does NOT open/button fully or even halfway. How secure is my tablet if I can't even get it in or out easily? Once inside, the Surface Pro fits great, but I don't want to bother getting it in or out. I need a case that I can easily slide my tablet in and out of without worrying about dropping it when I'm struggling with it. This is a problem I encountered before with an old tote bag. The Surface Pro with its own keyboard is also fine, but it doesn't fit in a flip case. The zipper just can't be opened that far. After a lot of effort, I managed to fit it into the folio case, but it wouldn't zip up. He stuck out too hard. Shopping. Maybe TomToc will release another product that is easier to work with.
