To act with caution. Part of the protective film is fragile and breaks easily.

Bought for my teenage grandson for his new iPad. The cover has nice features, including a screen protector, and appears to be good value for the money. I gave it to him and figured that by the time he was 17, he'd be able to do the cover himself. When trying to separate the protective film from the bottom of the lid the 2 pieces snapped together, he somehow pierced the plastic film with his thumb. It's thin and brittle. It cracked and his thumb punched a hole, rendering it useless. He fiddled around for a few minutes and figured out how to separate the top and bottom and found he had the corner lifted. I left him alone since he was 17. Anyway, he figured out how to take this thing apart without damaging anything else. He was upset because he loved his new tablet and the beautiful cover for it. He's just a kid and it was an accident. The case isn't very expensive, so I ordered another one for him. It arrived in 2 days. After an initial setback, he knew how to safely peel the screen protector off the bottom of the case and was able to easily attach the second tablet case. I say this to let others know that a plastic screen protector is thin, brittle and brittle and breaks easily. So you should be careful when you put them on your tablet. The latch and built-in easel are good. We were generally happy with the product.
