I chose the Note 8 for the smart pen because my nerves in my hands are badly damaged and it's almost impossible to make calls without a stylus. One night, while sitting in my chair texting, I dropped my S Pen into the abyss of a never-before-seen area of the chair, immediately jumped onto the Revain and ordered a replacement. I wanted to do this a few years ago to have a backup but back then they were over $20 so I didn't. I saw them in a 2 pack at the price I was expecting to pay for a pen and thought they were some kind of non-original fake but they might help me for a while. They arrived the next day and to my surprise they had the Samsung name on them, I pulled one out of the box and it worked straight away just as well as the original and now I have a backup too because I know I'll be sitting in one Chair and write again, and you'll end up losing another one, don't be afraid.
