Unisex shoes ideal for boys!

My son has just started coining and I didn't want to invest in expensive shoes until I knew if he would wear them. However, all cheap children's beginner shoes were Mary Janes. Luckily I searched the internet for information about shoes and found that a size 4 for a boy corresponds to a size 5.5 for a woman. I went to women's size 6 on the recommendation of his teacher and it fits me very well. There's room to grow, but not so much that it's uncomfortable. After a month of use, it is already showing some signs of wear. I'll be lucky if the shoe lasts before it outgrows it. The insole is very thin and cracks at the heel, but I can add an insole. Faux leather, that's it. Won't stand up to heavy use, but works for now. The faucets themselves are better than I expected and have a "good sound" according to the teacher. My son loves to dance in it so I have to recommend it. If you already have a dedicated dancer these are way too cheap but for a beginner they are great!
