Review on AVUE HDMI to SDI Converter with 1080P 1080i 720P 576i 480i Support and Dual SDI Outputs, Ideal for Broadcasting by Noe Miceli

This unit is used to convert the output signal from a DIRECTV box (HDMI) to an HD/SDI broadcast monitor. It locked on signal out of the box and showed video perfectly at any resolution 1080i, 720p, etc. on the monitor. No problem. But shortly after blocking, it starts to reset the signal every few seconds, resulting in a black frame appearing on the monitor. Tried every possible setting on the DIRECTV box to adjust the output resolution but to no avail. I've tried adjusting the monitor resolution to no avail. Streaming video directly to your TV via the HDMI input works perfectly, with no frame drops. Are frames displayed when using AVUE to send a signal to a broadcast monitor?
