Review on πŸ’¨ Cooler Master Elite 500W Ver.3 - Quiet ATX Power Supply with PCI-E Support and 120mm Fan by Eddie Gordon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Mine was DOA good for internal power supplies

Ordered this to replace a stock Dell 300w PS to upgrade the graphics card. Unfortunately, Cooler Master didn't have enough power to power the computer even without a graphics card. I tried all the connections and thought maybe it was my fault, even though I've installed the power supply many times. Unfortunately this was not the case. I have used Cooler Master power supplies successfully in the past. I think I just got a bad one. This can happen with any brand. Many thanks to Amazon for the uncomplicated and free return of a defective item. I simply printed out the label and handed it in at the UPS branch. I'm not saying you shouldn't buy this power supply. I've had good luck with this brand so far. The PSU is heavy (usually a sign of a quality PSU) and looks well made. Lots of connections and good long cables. I'm pretty sure it was just an anomaly.

Pros
