I've been using a flip case for my iPads for years but recently switched to a simpler case. Liked the smaller size but just couldn't take it. Decided to return to the folio and the model seemed to suit my needs quite well. Very protective for the pad and flexible to use. Mostly I use it as a coaster in the countryside where it excels. It's a bit harder to use in portrait mode, but it still works. It hasn't had enough time to determine durability, but after a few weeks it shows no wear or soiling. It's a bit difficult to get the pencil out of the loading slot. More of a two-handed operation, but you're very unlikely to lose your stylus. When I want to upgrade to a less bulky case it's very easy to take it out of the fold and you have a lid that's easy to grab. Edit: After using the case for a while, I noticed a problem. When the case is folded to use it more like a tablet, the magnets get in the way of charging the pen. I've started dividing the case in two and only using the folding part when taking it somewhere or as a stand. When I sit in my chair and read, I only use the inside of the case. This does not change my overall assessment of the case.
