I ordered based on my standard pant size, and these fit well, the compression liner is snug, but not too tight. The waist has elastic, plus a quality drawstring, so finding the solution you need there is covered. They dry reasonably fast, for a board suit. I think I look fantastic in these, but I so far no wolf whistles - probably not the suit.
