I spend long hours outside in cold weather, walk my dogs and also work long hours outside. I need access to my phone and gear while working and exercising my dog so I can't wear gloves which make my hands bulky and awkward. I've tried gloves that cover the thumb, but they work best when all 5 fingers are open. They have a warm flap to cover my fingertips if I want and I can put my thumb in there too. I can also put a dog treat, training clicker or hand warmer inside. I am a woman with fairly large hands and these gloves fit me very well. They stretch to fit a range of sizes. I love these gloves.
