I ran out of mouthwash and didn't have time to walk into town to buy another one. this is the first time i have ordered this. Since the order arrived at our local post office on a Saturday, I received my regular mouthwash a day before I was able to pick up the ACT. I only mentioned it because it gave me a chance to read the label and see how the general ingredients compare to these. ACT Mouthwash – 0.02% Sodium Fluoride, 0.009% w/um. Fluoride Ion Mouthwash - 0.02% Sodium Fluoride, 0.009% wt/approx. fluoride ion. Thus, based on the ingredients listed alone, the two species appear to be essentially the same. In terms of effectiveness, I have very sensitive teeth due to enamel wear. Days without these mouthwashes and every tooth in my mouth feels like an abscess. As mentioned, this formula offers relief, especially after a few days of consistent use. They all taste pretty much the same to me. I think the main takeaway from this is that when the ingredients are the same, the choice boils down to things like price and convenience. in the end, whether ACT or generic, the biggest difference for me was the price. If I was stranded and unable to get back into town I would book this again.
