Review on Secure and Durable AdirOffice Steel Metal Locker for Lab & Scientific Storage by Johnny Pigao

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Overall good fit and finish, relatively easy assembly

Summary: Bought this to use as a lightweight hazmat cabinet in my garage. Packaging: In general, the packaging box, foam and foam are very good; However, one of the parts had a small damage (see photo). Assembly: The instructions are pretty good and very simple. Assembly will be easier if you lay out the parts, especially the left and right sides, and then start assembling. Changes: The door only stays closed when it's locked. Instead I added a very strong computer magnet next to the locking mechanism and that was enough to keep the door closed without having to latch it. Advantages: 1) Very good packaging 2) Good instructions 3) The cabinet is stable after assembly; assembly was pretty easy. Cons: 1) Minor damage to one part 2) One leg had a metal burr that interfered with assembly but was easily fixed with a file 3) One step was missing from the instructions (assembly of a transparent rubber bumper for the door) 4) Additional Bolts/washers are not listed in the parts list (they were not needed) 5) One of the four bolt holes did not match and had to be drilled to fix it 6) The internal suspension bolts were too small, don't tighten; Fastening by installing screws with a larger diameter.

Pros
  • ENOUGH STORAGE. Brings order to the children's room and work area. Kids can hide their school supplies, sports equipment, toys and games behind the locker door while the two inside hooks are perfect for coats, hats, backpacks and sports equipment.
Cons
  • Concise Manual
