Day 0: Unpacking thoughts I liked it out of the box. Visually it is quite attractive. It looked very well built, the buckles looked good, everything around it looked good. It turned out to be made of durable materials. Day 1. Laptop, books and laptops I have a 16 inch laptop. I bought the 17" version of this laptop bag. Because of that decision, I was EXTREMELY limited in colors. I think I'd prefer the black version (I'm a theater technician, we like dark colors). However, when I put my laptop inside, it fit he doesn't. Not a little, but more than an inch. The zipper is also sewn on almost at an angle, oddly enough, which made things even more difficult. Also, there's only one large internal pocket, there's NO padding for a laptop. So, the story of the day : DO NOT BUY TO CARRY A LARGE LAPTOP Day #1.5: More pockets please? I carry stuff. Books. Notebooks. Binders. Pens. Pencils. Roulette. Umbrella. Water bottle. All this and more. This bag has 6 pockets .Two large square front pockets. They fit my Kindle Paperwhite which is nice. The side ones close with a buckle not a magnet. This makes quick access difficult f on her. They are also quite small. The main pocket is just one large open area. No divisions, nothing. The main pocket is zipped and contains a small pocket no larger than a small paperback. In general, memory dividers are very limited. ***Will be back in a few days to talk durability and see how it holds up to daily use (and abuse)***
