This cylinder is part of a DIY video project. I use a skateboard and a stepper motor to move the camera horizontally. This cylinder and some tall rails are used to move the camera vertically. The pulleys increase the cylinder's stroke from 1 foot to over 6 feet. I now have a cylinder on my workbench with several different air compressors and a manually operated 2-way valve. The operation is smooth and stable. I am very satisfied with this product and would buy one again at any time. Boomine product.
