These training wheels are pretty handy for a cheap Chinese product. The levers feel pretty strong, although the wheels look very cheap and I don't think they will last very long or survive a rollover. If you're just trying to get your child confident enough that they don't need them, chances are they'll stick around long enough to do so. At the extreme edge, they barely reach for our kid's 24-inch bike. Contrary to some other commenters, I found the extension screw on the right side to be pretty solid and sturdy once installed. The left hand fits perfectly. The right arm was at the wrong angle until I started tightening it and then the arm actually flexed in place as I tightened. I'm concerned about the strength of the material, but in the end I figured the wheel would fail long before the lever. In any case, I think that you can buy here with a certain confidence. If your child needs training wheels that big, then they're probably at an age where they need them more for confidence than actual balance. Ours have been riding for two days and are almost ready to take them off. Why spend a lot of money on quality when you only need a temporary solution?
