They work great just tired of the ink conspiracy

After several ink purchases from Canon I get the impression that the manufacturer's strategy is to sell you a product at a low/reasonable price and then milk you for more ink purchases. Another strategy is to keep changing the shape and size of the cartridge so you'll hold onto it if your printer fails. I wish there was something similar to laser printer cartridges that last thousands of pages before needing to be replaced.
