Excellent laser pointer! and flash is good. it lights up my whole pitch black office. When it comes to UV light or black light, I'm not sure which one I consider UV light to be because it shines on white things and doesn't make it glow, so I'm pretty sure it's not a black light. I deducted 1 star because I couldn't figure out how to enable a mode other than flash. As it came with no instructions I had to open the Amazon listing page to find out. and so I had no idea what the UV/black light was for. I find the different laser pointer settings fun, but my cat only likes the simple dot mode.
