The scissors are sharp and do the job
The scissors are sharp and just the right size for trimming bangs and hair. I'm left handed so I bought the left handed version. I assume they are left handed but they looked right handed and my right handed partner could have used them as well. So I'm guessing they're ambidexters. The rubber rings had to be removed - I didn't realize I had fingers that big (I have a woman, medium sized hands, ring size 7.5), but they didn't sit comfortably. I'm glad I read the reviews as I didn't know the rubber rings were removable or that the tension could be adjusted. There is nothing like that on the packaging. I guess I don't need a guide for scissors (!) but it would be nice to know about rings and tension.
