I was skeptical about buying this phone case because of everything I've read about other cases and the fingerprint film doesn't work. Well I just installed this case on my phone and it works great, my fingerprint scanner works fine. The case feels solid and durable, and the built-in screen protector is easy to write on. So I think it's a wise investment. I'll update once I've tried my S-Pen. S-Pen works fine, no problem.
