I love the style of these hiking shoes and love the crossed elastic instead of laces. I usually wear a 9.5 and ordered these. The fit is too narrow for wide shoes. I tried them on without socks and there was no way I could wear thicker socks in cooler weather. I'm returning them and trying a width of 10. Hope they work! Update (10/20/19): I ordered size 1/2 to 10W and they fit great! I can wear them with or without socks and they are very comfortable and supportive! Success! They are easy to slip on and off which I was looking for because I wear hiking shoes to work and then switch to work shoes so I wanted the shoes to still look good and I didn't have to worry about laces.
