You can replace the no-sump oil pump, REPLACE WITH THIS PUMP, replace all 24 roller tappets with REVISED FORD FACTORY rocker arms (the new version drilled an oil hole to allow oil to coat the needle bearings, rocker arms no longer bind. I went ahead and got one new FORD water pump,thermostat and gasket.Did this on a 2012 expedition with 154k.I spent about 1490.00 after buying special tools etc but it's all new with UPDATED parts which stop the recurring problems, that have plagued the 5.4 3-valves in the past.
