I had always purchased Sanuk flip-flops w/ yoga mat cushion, and thought they were the best ever. However, in an attempt to save $, I decided to try these instead about a yr. ago. I have small (6.5), but wide, feet, need lots of cushion & good arch support; not easy to find. When these arrived, I wasn't too sure about their durability. But, they have held up so well that I ordered a second pair in a different color when offered for a great $. The straps have stretched somewhat, but the arch has retained it's original support! The only negative, for me, is the choice of strap. I still enjoy wearing my Sanuks with a small gold strap for a little more "polished" look in the world of flip-flops :) !
