Our eight year old loves the ultra comfy boots. They are very well made, feel soft and luxurious. The rubber shower is perfect for our slippery wooden floors or for a quick run outdoors. We love the suede toe and heel guards, he seems to be playing with his brother so roughly he's rubbing the toes of a lot of shoes before he can even get out of them! It's around 60 degrees now and his feet stay warm, they don't seem to sweat even with socks on! Quality outsole with the right grip and stiffness, perfect for indoor or light outdoor use. Not sure if we want him walking outside in them all day but they hold up well!
