Good except for the strong plastic smell

I have these strainers for occasional use and the price was exceptionally low but I will not be buying them again. It took some work to remove the very strong plastic smell from their surfaces. I dunked them in dish soap a couple of times and ended up having to soak them in baking soda paste to get the smell out. Now they seem fine.
