I have thick curly hair and a lot of combs kept breaking. This comb is the strongest I have ever used in my life. I've been using this for many years. It is best to heat the comb again to 450 degrees. Cheap plastic combs from beauty shops don't stand a chance against this heat-resistant plastic. All of my previous plastic combs have melted and gotten caught in my hair causing breakage. This comb shows no signs of wear and I have been using it for many years when straightening my hair with a flat iron. I'm obsessed with this brand now.
