I seal the top of these bags with a flat iron used for straightening hair, and it keeps the bag sealed better for longer food storage.Wallaby is a well-known brand for food storage, and I've always trusted their bags. I like that this is one of the few brands manufactured in the USA.
- Very nice heavy bags. Zip lock nice as well
- Mylar bags may not be suitable for all types of food storage, like wet or oily products
