Review on 🔒 Windex Electronics Wipes: 25-Count Cleaning Solution for Screens and Electronics by Kara Davis

Keep looking, they're not the same. I used these wipes a few days ago to clean my MBP display. Initial performance was fairly low: there was a nominal amount of lint/dustiness that other reviewers have mentioned, but the strips were absurdly poor for a product made specifically for cleaning displays. After going through a total of 3 shawls, I gave up and tried to align all the stripes in the same horizontal direction to minimize how distracting they are. I haven't tried to clear the display properly until today. , at this point I found that the larger spots in the strips left irreversible spots on the screen; I'm not sure what the process was, but it looks like it chemically ate its way through the coating on the monitor screen (see photos). I don't know what else to say - I'm just amazed that a well known brand like Windex is selling this crap.
