Review on Hefty Recycling Trash Bags - Blue, 13 Gallon Size, Pack of 60 Count by Shannon Smith

I bought it because I didn't have anything for recyclables when I moved. The problem is that you throw the contents in the trash and reuse the bag, discard the bag or take it to the bin that some retailers have. I don't understand why these recyclers don't use plastic bags and styrofoam, but they do. These bags were great and I never had a leak but they were only useful to me until I got my own bin then I was just wasteful as they served no purpose. If your community has a valet take-away/recycle program, then these bags are worth it, but I don't see any other long-term scenario where they might be more useful than wasteful. As far as I know, these recycling companies don't accept such plastic bags and grocery bags because they are difficult to sort. o_0 I wonder what Hefti is doing to fight it?
