I bought this phone for my office room. Wanted a durable wall phone and liked that it was made in the USA. The phone looks and works just like the old wall phones. However, it is not the same. First, the call is rude and there doesn't appear to be any volume control for the call. it's either loud or off. I could accept it. What I cannot accept is that about a week ago the phone turns itself off after about 5 minutes of conversation. If you hang up and call back immediately, the phone works. This is totally unacceptable. Oh I checked and the return policy ended on February 8th. So now I have a nice phone on my wall that rings and I can answer, but I hang up if I say anything more than hello. Personally, I'll buy my next phone from a brick-and-mortar store that sells quality, not junk.
