Metal racks to which the handle is attached.
This is a very nice kettle, well made and with a loud whistle. The problem is that as the metal pan heats up, the heat is transferred from the pan to the posts that attach the handle to the pan. Frames are made of metal. When using the pouring handle you have to be very careful not to let your hand touch the rods, they get very hot. The kettle is excellent if that wasn't a problem. You have to be gone to do that. Many Thanks.
