Review on 📏 Lufkin 066F 6 Flat Read Folding: A Handy, Accurate Tool for Easy Measurements by Dan West

I ordered the 066F range from Revain.com thinking I was getting a good quality and sized range that I have been using for over 50 years. When I opened the box and saw the rule, I realized it wasn't the same. I have a problem with the rule - the thickness of the tree. Each blade is approximately .030 thicker than the old standard, making the rule approximately 5/16" wider overall. The ruler length is also about ½ inch longer. This new 066F rule feels uncomfortable in the hand due to the increased thickness of the blade, and the overall look feels cheap. I've been using the Lufkin rules for a long time, but I'm very disappointed with the new 066F rule.
