So I bought a Pioneer Elite A/V Receiver for about $1,000. Then I bought a room full of Klipsch Reference Premier speakers with Dolby Atmos Surround. So why should I use any cable? I checked many brands and stores. But it was the best wire I found. That's why I chose it. A wire does not carry electricity like a tube through which water flows, instead electrons travel along the surface of the material. So the larger the surface, the better the flow. This 12 AWG (12 gauge) wire is thicker but has more individual strands than almost any other wire I've found, meaning the overall surface area is much greater than most other 12 AWG wires on the market Market. The wire was densely packed, reducing the air pockets that led to oxidation. Oxidation on wires is similar to sewage sludge, blocking smooth flow and eventually shutting it off completely. The quality of the insulation was amazing too, one side is gray silver and the other black which makes it easy to stay straight, there isn't a thin line of color to look for. I bought a 100ft pull box because I could cut the wires to the length I needed to provide enough length without doing too much "extra" twisting. I just bought Silverback banana plugs which are gold plated and secured with two opposite crimping screws. They are rock hard and look great. I didn't have about 10 feet of wire to connect to my final speaker, so I bought pre-made 10 foot Silverback speaker wire with gold plated banana plugs. It costs a little more pre-assembled, but it was still 100% worth it. The connectors even included a small screwdriver the right size for the crimping screws. So there you have it, I want to tell someone how cool this is; Quality, appearance, weight, usability, etc.
