Review on Afeax Home Button Replacement For IPhone 7/7 Plus/IPhone 8/IPhone 8 Plus (Rose Gold) Version 4 by David Bone

Firstly, due to the way Apple designed the security system for the fingerprint reader, the fingerprint reader will not work with a home button that is outside of an Apple store was renovated. Installed on IPhone 8 with IOS 13.3.1 The product worked as a home button right after installation. Didn't need bluetooth or loopback etc. The button is more sensitive and than the original. Some of the sensitivity can be adjusted by changing the configuration, but even after switching it to the lowest setting, the button is still more sensitive than usual. Double-clicking requires you to completely remove your finger from the home button and press the button again. The original doesn't require your finger to be completely lifted from the button to double-click. Haptic feedback works with this button but is slightly different from the original. Even a light touch activates haptic feedback. The original home button was more like 3D Touch. I'm not sure about the durability, but the test mentioned that the home button lasted about 4 months. I will update my review if this applies to my repair. In general: The button works, albeit with the above limitations.
