I received this cleverly designed cleaver just a few short weeks ago and have been delighted with my purchase. For despite its rough veneer it is quite the refined little carver. Last weekend we hosted a wine and cheese party and it made short work of my wife's pate. The next day she had it in the kitchen icing a chocolate cake. Later that evening I even used the spine to break up a bag of boutique ice shaped in the form of top hats. It is nothing if not versatile.If you fancy yourself a "foodie" don't be left behind the vanguard of kitchen cutlery. Bon appetit.Addendum: I took one star off because it only has one pattern for forming cookies, Idaho.
