Easy to read but falls through the oven rack
Although the dial is larger and has more visible numbers I have to be very careful when putting this thermometer in the oven because it falls through gaps in posture at the slightest impact. The base is a very small triangle so I need to mount it or something to give it a wider base for stability. I dug my old one out of the trash and saw that it had a rectangular base spanning the space on the oven shelf. My oversight is that I didn't notice the difference in design.
