Perfect fit for my radio

So I replaced the original head unit in my GMC 2011 Sierra. For him there was a USB plug with a micro-USB connector. The new Android head unit I bought had a standard USB port. This adapter allowed me to keep the standard USB port in my console and plug it into my new Android head unit. It's not fast charging or anything, but it works and I'm happy with it. I also don't think this problem has anything to do with this adapter.
